If you'd like to check that our supported programs have received your donation, you can simply reach out to them and ask. They can use your payment reference to search the reports that we provide them, or, if you opt in to share your contact details, they can also search by your email address.
Supported programs are able to see your donation as soon as it is reconciled in our accounting software. They will receive the donation in their next grant.
We currently make grants quarterly. Generally, we finalise the balances from one quarter and disburse them in the following quarter. For example, we would expect Q4 2025 balances to be calculated and paid out in Q1 2026.
We also have a minimum payout threshold of 25,000 in each grant currency (USD, GBP, and EUR). This helps keep the grantmaking process efficient and reduces operational costs for both supported programs and GWWC. Balances below the thresholds in a given grant round are rolled over to the next round. All program balances are disbursed at least annually.
If a supported program needs access to their balance sooner for cash flow reasons, they can reach out to our grants team to facilitate an earlier payout.
